Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VERSECALL ("the Service", "we") collects, uses, and protects your information. A Korean translation follows the English text. 한국어 번역은 아래에 있습니다.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Scar's Agent, an individual business run by Lee Seongdo (Business Registration No. 420-48-01262), located in Gwangju, Republic of Korea. For any privacy request, contact support@versecall.app.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email address and an account identifier, stored by our authentication provider (Supabase). You may set a display name.
  • User-generated content — the text prompts you enter to summon characters, weapons, and battle backgrounds, and the images and game data generated from them.
  • Gameplay data — your characters, weapons, backgrounds, in-game currency balance and transaction history, battle progress, and settings.
  • Device & technical data — a push-notification token (if you enable notifications), IP address, device/OS type, and server logs.
  • Purchase data — when you buy in-app items, Apple or Google processes the payment and we receive only a transaction/receipt identifier. We never receive or store your card details.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the Service (accounts, summoning, battles, storing your collection).
  • To generate content — your prompts and generated images are sent to our AI providers to create and describe your characters, weapons, and backgrounds.
  • To moderate content for safety and legal compliance (automated text and image moderation).
  • To send push notifications you have opted into (e.g., summon completion).
  • To provide support, respond to reports, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms.

4. AI processing notice

The Service is powered by generative AI. Text you submit and images generated for you are transmitted to third-party AI providers (OpenAI, L.L.C. and Anthropic, PBC) solely to generate and moderate your content. Please do not submit personal, sensitive, or confidential information in prompts.

5. Service providers we share data with

We share data only with providers necessary to run the Service, and we do not sell your personal information:

  • Supabase — authentication and account database
  • Hetzner (Germany) — application hosting and image storage
  • OpenAI — image generation and content moderation
  • Anthropic — text and character generation
  • Apple / Google — in-app purchase processing and push-notification delivery

6. International data transfers

Our servers and storage are located in the European Union (Hetzner, Germany), and our AI providers process data in the United States. By using the Service, you understand your data may be processed in these regions under appropriate safeguards.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account). Deletion permanently removes your characters, weapons, backgrounds, currency records, and generated images, and deletes your authentication record. Limited records (e.g., abuse reports or transaction logs required for tax/audit) may be retained in anonymized or minimal form where required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your region — EU/EEA (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), Republic of Korea (PIPA) and others — you have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account directly in-app, or email support@versecall.app for other requests. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 14 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new update date.

개인정보처리방침 (한국어)

본 방침은 VERSECALL("서비스")이 이용자의 정보를 어떻게 수집·이용·보호하는지 설명합니다. 영문본과 내용이 상충할 경우 이용자에게 유리한 해석을 따릅니다.

1. 운영주체

본 서비스는 스카에이전트(Scar's Agent)(대표 이성도, 사업자등록번호 420-48-01262, 광주광역시)가 운영합니다. 개인정보 관련 문의: support@versecall.app.

2. 수집하는 정보

  • 계정 정보 — 이메일 주소·계정 식별자(인증 제공사 Supabase 저장), 표시 이름(선택).
  • 이용자 생성 콘텐츠 — 캐릭터·무기·전투배경 소환에 입력한 문장, 이에 따라 생성된 이미지·게임 데이터.
  • 게임 데이터 — 보유 캐릭터·무기·배경, 재화(정수) 잔액·거래내역, 전투 진행도, 설정.
  • 기기·기술 정보 — 푸시 토큰(알림 허용 시), IP 주소, 기기/OS 정보, 서버 로그.
  • 결제 정보 — 인앱 결제는 Apple/Google이 처리하며, 당사는 지급용 거래/영수증 식별자만 수신합니다. 카드 정보는 수신·저장하지 않습니다.

3. 이용 목적

서비스 제공·운영, 콘텐츠 생성(입력 문장·생성 이미지를 AI 제공사로 전송), 안전·법규 준수를 위한 모더레이션, 동의한 푸시 알림 발송, 고객지원·신고 처리, 법적 의무 이행 및 약관 집행.

4. AI 처리 고지

본 서비스는 생성형 AI 기반입니다. 입력 문장과 생성 이미지는 콘텐츠 생성·모더레이션 목적에 한해 제3자 AI 제공사(OpenAI, Anthropic)로 전송됩니다. 프롬프트에 개인정보·민감정보·기밀을 입력하지 마세요.

5. 처리위탁·제3자 제공

서비스 운영에 필요한 아래 제공사에 한해 데이터를 공유하며, 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다: Supabase(인증·DB), Hetzner(독일, 호스팅·이미지 저장), OpenAI(이미지 생성·모더레이션), Anthropic(텍스트 생성), Apple/Google(결제·푸시).

6. 국외 이전

서버·저장소는 EU(독일 Hetzner), AI 처리는 미국에서 이뤄집니다. 서비스 이용 시 해당 지역에서의 처리에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다.

7. 보유·파기 및 삭제

계정이 활성인 동안 보유합니다. 앱 내 프로필 → 계정 삭제로 언제든 삭제할 수 있으며, 캐릭터·무기·배경·재화 기록·생성 이미지와 인증 레코드가 영구 삭제됩니다. 법령상 필요한 신고·거래 기록 등은 최소·비식별 형태로 보관될 수 있습니다.

8. 이용자 권리

지역(EU GDPR, 캘리포니아 CCPA, 한국 PIPA 등)에 따라 열람·정정·삭제·이동 및 처리 제한/거부를 요청할 수 있습니다. 계정 삭제는 앱에서 직접 가능하며, 그 외 요청은 support@versecall.app. 관할 개인정보 감독기구에 민원을 제기할 수도 있습니다.

9. 아동

본 서비스는 만 14세 미만(또는 관할 최소연령 미만)을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 해당 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

10. 보안 · 11. 변경

암호화 통신·접근통제 등 표준적 보호조치를 적용하나 절대 안전을 보장하지는 않습니다. 본 방침은 개정될 수 있으며 중요한 변경은 본 페이지에 개정일과 함께 게시합니다.
